Designs attracted attention
While Turkey’s achievements and innovations in the packaging industry were exhibited at FachPack 2024, the stands of Turkish companies attracted great interest from international visitors. The Turkish pavilion, which attracted attention with its sustainable designs in line with the latest trends, was appreciated by both exhibitors and visitors. Commenting on the fair, Alican Duran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Exporters’ Associations, said: ’The Turkish packaging industry continues its journey with slow but sure steps while maintaining its steady rise. We continue on our way by reinforcing our strong position in the world markets every year. The determination of our manufacturers motivates us and makes us look to the future with more hope. At this point, fairs are also important for us to follow new collaborations and sectoral developments. By taking part in leading international fairs such as FachPack, especially in the European geography, we both exhibit our innovative products and have the opportunity to closely follow the global trends in the sector. The export potential of our beautiful country and its quality and sustainability-oriented production power reach a wider audience with such organisations and increase our competitiveness. By participating in such large-scale fairs, we will continue to work to have more say in the global arena and increase our share in the market.’
