GEW has announced the appointment of CNI Tisk servis spol. s r.o. as its official distributor for Label and Narrow Web business in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with immediate effect. CNI now manage sales, service and spare parts for GEW Label and Narrow Web installations across both countries.
The new partnership builds upon GEW’s existing distributorship in Hungary, which borders Slovakia and is managed by CNI Kft., which is a subsidiary company of CNI.
Founded in October 1992 by Pavel Balloš and Jiří Novák, CNI began trading from a small garage on the outskirts of Prague. Since then, the company has steadily built in size and reputation, and now has 45 employees and four warehouses across the region, in addition to its Prague headquarters.
CNI is a distributor for several leading brands, and is the market leader in the region for the supply of UV and UV LED inks to the printing industry, representing Flint Group, Dupont, Dantex and H.B. Fuller, among others.
Adam Balloš, CEO at CNI, comments: “We have experience of representing GEW through our Hungarian office and we know all about the reliability and dependability of their UV systems. We are excited to now have the opportunity to share GEW’s leading-edge technology with our customers, old and new, in Czechia and Slovakia. Our current products have an excellent synergy with GEW’s, meaning that we will be able to offer more of a ‘one-stop-shop’ service to our customers.”
Bernd Prattl, Managing Director at GEW D-A-CH, adds: “We look forward to delivering excellent and responsive customer support through our new partners CNI. They are well established, well respected and well known throughout the region, and will offer more proactive sales, service and spare parts support to our customers.”
