Roland DG, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters, announced today that the VersaSTUDIO BY-20, launched on January 16, 2024, has received a Buyers Lab (BLI) 2024 Pick Award from Keypoint Intelligence for Outstanding Desktop DTF Printer. It is the first desktop DTF (Direct-to-Film) printer to earn the esteemed award in this, Keypoint Intelligence’s inaugural DTF awards cycle.
The BY-20 is a compact, easy-to-use, and affordable desktop printer using the DTF transfer method for professional apparel production. After printing on a special film, hot-melt powder is applied and thermally melted, and then the film is simply layered on fabric and heat-pressed to create original T-shirts, sportswear, etc. It produces highly designed apparel beautifully and quickly for a vast array of garments.
