Karton Ambalaj Sanayicileri Derneği (KASAD), which represents carton packaging manufacturers in the national and international arena, held its December meeting. As the last days of the year approaching, the work carried out in the past months on the one hand and the future of the industry on the other hand were discussed at the meeting. Baumer hhs, the leading manufacturer of cold and hot melt adhesive applications and industrial gluing systems in automated production environments, including glue application heads, pumps, pressurised tanks, control and monitoring systems, and Graff Glue, the representative of Turkey, were also showcased at the meeting.

Turkey’s cartonboard packaging industry, which improves its production volume day by day and makes successful moves in exports, is among the most important cartonboard packaging producers in Europe, while on the other hand, it continues to address the problems of the sector and exchange ideas for the future with the events and meetings held. Speaking at the last meeting of the year, Alican Duran, President of the Karton Ambalaj Sanayicileri Derneği (KASAD), said, “The year 2023, in which we realised the 100th anniversary of our Republic due to the earthquake, crises between countries in different geographies of the world and fluctuations in the global economy, was very difficult for us, but we are finishing this year in the most efficient way to be worthy of our republic. The combative structure of our cardboard packaging industry brings success. We work non-stop with all our producers and exporters to make a meaningful contribution to the economy of our country. Our industry, which produces with a focus on sustainability, attracts attention, so our export figures are constantly increasing. We believe that we will continue to multiply our current successes in the second century of our republic.”
