Lidya Group was given the “Stars of HR Award”. At the ceremony organised by Secret Cv at Istanbul Marriot Hotel Asia, Lidya Group Human Resources Officer Merve Tan received Lidya Group’s award.
Underlining that the first and most important priority of Lidya Group is “human resources”, Merve Tan said:
“As Lidya Group, we have different technologies in digital printing with Xerox, Epson, Efi, Kongsberg, Duplo and Sutec brands we represent and we serve almost all sectors. The first priority of Lidya Group is our employees. Under the leadership of Bekir Öz, our Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Sevim Yenici Öz, our Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, we carry out valuable work on issues concerning our department, such as our employees working in a happy and peaceful environment. Our employees are not the cogs of a functioning wheel for us, but each of them is a player of a good team and our teammates.”
Merve Tan, who expressed their honour and happiness to receive the Stars of HR award as a company, said the following:
“The content of the project for which we received the award is that the human resources processes are managed in the best way by both candidates and employers, interviews are conducted with suitable candidates and as a result of these interviews, positive or negative feedback is provided to the candidates. One of the most common complaints of candidates in our country is that the application results in the job search process remain unanswered. While the process usually progresses with positive candidates, candidates who are evaluated negatively rightly want to get an answer and know how the process is progressing. As a company, we have successfully managed and continue to manage our job adverts published on the Secret Cv website and the management of these adverts within certain criteria. At the same time, candidate data security and processes must be completed in a short time. In short, we received the award because we are one of the companies that manage all these processes in the best way,” he said.
Last year was successful and productive
Merve Tan, who evaluated the year 2023 and the activities carried out as a department, said the following: “The devastating earthquake we experienced in February last year affected our country deeply. As Lidya Group, we quickly organised our emergency team and supported the earthquake regions. We tried to heal our wounds together. If we evaluate the year in general, as a department, we had a successful and productive year. In order to ensure that our valuable human resources work successfully and happily in our institution, we have both refreshed their corporate memory with the trainings we provided and strengthened their bonds. We have endeavoured to plan the onboarding processes of our new recruits in the best way from the very beginning of their application processes, to ensure that their orientation is carried out properly and to complete their adaptation to their teams quickly. We are in constant communication with all our teammates. We always respond quickly and accurately to all possible questions, whether work-related or non-work-related, and we endeavour to avoid any doubt in their minds. We try to support our new colleagues in all processes from the moment they step into the company, to see themselves as part of the team and to adapt quickly to their teams. It is very valuable for us that each of our colleagues see the company not only as an institution but also as a place where they can develop themselves and realise their goals. As we act with this motto, success comes with it. In addition, after the acquisition of Xerox Turkey operation by Lidya Group, we are taking firm steps forward by adding strength to our strength with our expanding team. In 2024, we will continue with our planned trainings, internal and external activity programmes.”
Integrating artificial intelligence infrastructures into HR
Stating that they will continue to carry out successful works in 2024, Merve Tan said:
“By integrating developing artificial intelligence infrastructures with our Human Resources system, we will ensure end-to-end positive transformation in our Human Resources performance system. As always, we will continue to support our employees by focusing on employee loyalty. While aiming to maximise the experience of our employees, we will focus on our leader and manager development programme.”
