Drupa 2024 Printing, Packaging and Printing Technologies Fair was held in Düsseldorf, Germany between 28 May and 7 June. Lidya Group, Turkey’s leading company in digital printing technologies with Xerox, Epson, Efi, Sutec, Kongsberg, Duplo brands, participated in Drupa Fair with 6 brands.
Lidya Group Sales Director Adem Öz, who evaluated the developments at the Drupa Fair held in Germany, said the following:
“As Lidya Group, we participated in the Drupa Fair with our 6 brands we represent. If we evaluate the Drupa Fair in general, it was a very successful fair, although the participation of the brands and the shows were a little weak compared to the previous years in the Drupa Fair held after eight years. Interest in digital printing finishing machines was high at the fair. There was a demand for brands that reduce operating costs on the one hand and personnel costs on the other with advanced technology in industrial production facilities. Despite visa problems, visitors from Turkey attended the fair quite intensely. The brands we represented at Drupa, such as Epson, Efi, Kongsberg, Duplo, had exhibition stands and the interest of the guests and visitors at these stands where Lidya Grup was present carried the brands to the top. During the fair, the global brands we represent introduced their innovations and the latest points they have reached in technology. For example, the Efi brand explained its hybrid technology at high speed. In the finishing section of Duplo, larger sizes and faster machines were launched. On the Epson side, prototype parts of future products and new technologies were exhibited. On the Kongsberg side, demos and shows of the world’s fastest cutter Kongsberg Ultimate were organised. The stands of the brands we represent attracted the attention of both Turkish customers and visitors interested in printing technologies around the world. Drupa 2024 was a successful and productive fair for our company and the sector. In addition, there was intense interest especially from Far Eastern brands. Far Eastern brands, on the one hand, while introducing the technologies they have in the digital printing sector, on the other hand, they were in the process of establishing new business partnerships with the world and establishing the channel structure.”
