For 25 years, the Label Manufacturers Association – ESD, which has been benefiting its members and the industry with the responsibility it has undertaken, held its 12th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting on 6 March 2024 in Istanbul. As a result of the election held at the General Assembly, the Board of Directors of ESD for the 2024-2027 period was determined. The new term Board of Directors consists of valuable names of leading company representatives who have added value to the sector.

At the 12th Ordinary General Assembly, in addition to the Board of Directors, the Audit Board, which plays an important role in the management of ESD, the Registry Board and the Advisory Board, consisting of names who have contributed to the association for many years, were also determined.
“The New Language of New Life” It will be our priority to produce sustainable and innovative solutions for the future of the label, which we characterise as a label.
Merve ERGENÇ, the new president of the Label Manufacturers Association, said the following:
As the 12th Term Board of Directors, we will make great efforts to carry the flag that we have taken over from Mr Aydın OKAY and our esteemed boards, who have made great contributions to our association and who have ensured the realisation of successful projects in the past periods. While ensuring the sustainability of the projects we have taken over in the new period, we will also realise our new works in line with the rapidly changing world. In this process, we will continue to produce added value with our members and sector stakeholders.
With our responsibility to our country and our industry, we will work together as the voice of the entire industry with our experience and innovative perspective in the light of the experiences of the past board of directors. I would like to thank our past presidents and their administrations who have brought ESD, the only and well-established association in Turkey representing our industry, to these days, and I wish success to our new Board members.
